EMDR Empowers Change

I worked with an EMDR therapist to process my experiences. Now I'm a certified EMDR Therapist here to help you.

What does EMDR Do?

Our brains process all kinds of experiences. Experiences may not always be processed properly. This can show up in our lives through stress, flashbacks, nightmares, or be expressed in other ways. EMDR helps our brains reprocess those experiences and heal.

Why might I need EMDR?

Some experiences can leave us with feelings and beliefs that may not be helpful or even healthy. Experiences can also be hard or scary to remember. EMDR provides the tools to navigate our memories and empowers us to change how we view and experience our lives.

How does EMDR work?

A professional guides your focus between a memory, a sensory tool (like light, sounds, or physical tapping), and an intention. This leverages the natural biology of the brain to desensitize the experience and makes reprocessing more manageable.

Explore EMDR

EMDR therapy can be a powerful tool to help you improve your mental health. There are many types of therapy and some are more effective than others for specific needs. EMDR is versatile but may be best known for it's success rate in reprocessing very difficult experiences.
